Rev. Fr. Stephan Philip is a religious priest belonging to the Congregation of the Missionaries of St. Francis De Sales - MSFS. He was born in the State of Tamil Nadu, India. After the 10th grade, he joined the seminary in 1986 and had 12 years of formation to priesthood - that includes Minor Seminary, Novitiate, Philosophy and Theology and was ordained a priest in 1998. After serving in different parts of the Country (India) for 9 years, he was sent to Sicilia,Italy. After completing 4 years of ministry he returned to India. At that time, the the Provincial Superior asked  Fr. Stephan to render his priestly ministry in the diocese of Kalamazoo, MI, USA. He reached USA before the Easter in 2012. He was appointed as the associated pastor of St. Monica Parrish, Kalamazoo, MI and rendered pastoral service for 15 months. In August 2013, Fr. Stephan was appointed as the pastor of St. Rose of Lima, Hastings, MI and St. Cyril of Jerusalem
